The ‘Al vigneto’ Farmhouse (CIR 034013-AG-00004) offers four rooms for those who want to visit Parma and its province, each of which is dedicated to one of the four most representative vines of viticulture of Parma.

Just 20 minutes away from the historic centre and the Piazza del Duomo (the Cathedral and the Baptistery), the churches of St. John the Evangelist and Our Lady of Steccata, the Teatro Regio, the Camera of Saint Paul, the Palazzo della Pilotta (which houses the Farnese Theatre, the Palatine Library and the National Archaeological Museum), the Ducale Park (the Doge’s Palace), the Monastery of St. John the Evangelist, the Bodoni Museum, the National Gallery, the Lombardi Museum. In each of them the testimonies of famous artists: Caravaggio, Parmigianino, Benedict Antelami, Beato Angelico, Leonardo, El Greco, Van Dyck, Carracci, Tiepolo, Canaletto and so on.
The surroundings of Parma offer many interesting points: the Castles of the Duchy (with the manors of Felino and Torrechiara close to the farmhouse) the Places of Verdi, the Apennines with the Cento Laghi Park and the hiking trails of the CAI, the SPA, the ‘Parmense plains’ and the Po, the Via Francigena. Finally, three routes were born under the sign of taste, in a region whose cuisine is renowned throughout the world: the Road of Prosciutto and Wines of the Colli di Parma (along the path where is located the farmhouse), the Road of the Porcini Mushroom of Borgotaro, the road of Zibello Culatello. Typical products find in Food Museums (Parma Prosciutto, Felino Salami, Parmigiano Reggiano, tomato, pasta and wine) their institutional celebration.
The proximity to the Parma Trade Fairs and to other many important industries makes the Farmhouse ‘Al vigneto’ also a suitable place to stay for business.
